About half my stuff is realistic slice-of-life fiction, a quarter is the same with a bit of magical realism thrown in, and the rest is some kind of fantasy or sci-fi blend. In short, I write what inspires me at the time, but it makes it hard to develop a fan base.Leverett Buttshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05822160835689818255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429560125838989988.post-72873403459516640342014-11-20T12:29:28.039+00:002014-11-20T12:29:28.039+00:00Thanks guys, you've just confirmed I live and ...Thanks guys, you've just confirmed I live and work on the dark side!Chris Longmuirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02488093821886798927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429560125838989988.post-25624570660164514182014-11-19T17:32:19.406+00:002014-11-19T17:32:19.406+00:00Fine post, Chris, and good question. My vote for the series tag would be 'tough but heartfelt half-nice nasties.'glitter noirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11728649916344336118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2429560125838989988.post-2468049224948480602014-11-19T15:38:59.639+00:002014-11-19T15:38:59.639+00:00I fear I've only read the Death Game, Chris, b...I fear I've only read the Death Game, Chris, but on the basis of that alone I'd say you were pretty dark and gothic with not much domesticity in sight! Great book. I'll read more and see if it's typical, although 'Dundee', 'crime' and domestic' are not concepts which easily, as far as I can see, fit together.Dennis Hamleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15781139870037634374noreply@blogger.com
